About the job Senior L&D Manager | Global Law Firm | HKG

We are looking for a qualified lawyer turned L&D legal trainer to join our client's L&D team as a Regional Senior L&D Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our legal professionals across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal training and experience working in a reputable commercial law firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs, including programs that incorporate technology, for legal professionals across the region.
  • Work with practice area groups and PSLs to identify training needs and develop training materials.
  • Deliver training and peer coaching sessions in person and online.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest legal developments and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Collaborate with other trainers to develop and deliver global training programs.

Requirements:

  • A qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering high quality legal training, and a solid academic background
  • Professional Support Lawyers from major law firms are welcome to apply
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Fluency in Chinese languages is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good project management, research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
