Job Title: Events Planning Manager Location: Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination:

    • Plan, organise, and execute various events, including in-person seminars, conferences, webinars, and virtual meetings.
    • Collaborate with marketing communications (marcoms) teams and overseas offices to ensure seamless coordination of event planning efforts.
    • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, and attendee registration.
    • Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to secure necessary services and resources.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Monitor expenses, track invoices, and reconcile budget allocations.
  • Post-Event Review and Analysis:

    • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event.
    • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Best Practices Implementation:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to event planning and management.
    • Implement innovative approaches to enhance event experiences and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful events.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
