Compliance Officer | PE Firm | 3-4 years | Hong Kong

Yuzu is an Alternative Legal Services Provider based in Hong Kong, and is a member of the Star Anise group of legal talent management companies. 

We now have an outstanding secondment opportunity for a junior-level Compliance professional to support our client, a global investment management firm, in its Hong Kong office. Among other things, the role involves managing conflicts, conducting Financial Crimes compliance checks, and providing comprehensive compliance support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage conflicts of interest for market transactions.
• Provide daily compliance guidance on trading and information barriers.
• Oversee and enhance the compliance framework.
• Conduct AML checks and summarize findings.
• Monitor and report compliance to senior management.
• Deliver training to business partners.
• Assist with regulatory analysis and reporting.

Key Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of regulatory compliance experience.
• Bachelors degree in Law, Business, or related field (law degree preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of trading operations, credit, loans, and securities offerings.
• Knowledge of AML regulations.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Chinese language skills advantageous.
