Yuzu is an Alternative Legal Services Provider based in Hong Kong, and is a member of the Star Anise group of legal talent management companies.
We now have an outstanding secondment opportunity for a junior-level Compliance professional to support our client, a global investment management firm, in its Hong Kong office. Among other things, the role involves managing conflicts, conducting Financial Crimes compliance checks, and providing comprehensive compliance support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage conflicts of interest for market transactions.
- Provide daily compliance guidance on trading and information barriers.
- Oversee and enhance the compliance framework.
- Conduct AML checks and summarize findings.
- Monitor and report compliance to senior management.
- Deliver training to business partners.
- Assist with regulatory analysis and reporting.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of regulatory compliance experience.
- Bachelors degree in Law, Business, or related field (law degree preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of trading operations, credit, loans, and securities offerings.
- Knowledge of AML regulations.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Chinese language skills advantageous.
