Corporate M&A Senior Associate | 6+ Years PQE | Global Law Firm | HKG

We are currently seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join our client, a leading global law firm for their Hong Kong office. In this role, you will:

• Provide general corporate, commercial and FDI advice to overseas clients operating in China.
• Handle a broad range of matters such as M&A, JVs, shareholder agreements, directors service agreements, supply and other commercial contracts
• Liaise with PRC law firms on points of Chinese law.
  
  To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Been admitted in the PRC and one or both of Hong Kong or the US (ideally NY or California) legal qualifications (some PQE gained in each jurisdiction)
• Gained 6-8 years of PQE advising on general corporate law, with good experience in China
• Excellent bilingual skills in English and Mandarin
• Ability to work independently, handle enquiries, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to comfortably produce high-quality and reasoned responses in English.
