Accountant/Senior Accountant| US Law Firm | Maternity Cover Contract Role

A prestigious U.S. law firm in Hong Kong is seeking an Accountant/Senior Accountant for maternity cover on a contract basis in their Hong Kong Office. This role will report to the Finance Manager / Senior Manager, Asia Strategy & Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full accounts payable functions, including invoices, reimbursements, disbursements, and receipt management in line with firm policies.
• Manage client account transactions in compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
• Administer and resolve issues related to Emburse Enterprise (formerly ChromeRiver).
• Oversee cash flow and serve as main liaison with the bank, ensuring liquidity and resolving inquiries.
• Lead month-end and year-end closings to meet accounting and financial deadlines.
• Assist with various finance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in the legal sector
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules is a plus
• Familiarity with Aderant and Emburse Enterprise preferred
• Proactive, detail-oriented, independent, and adaptable
