Senior Associate 7+PQE | London | Multi-National Law Firm

Our client is seeking a skilled Intellectual Property lawyer with 7+ PQE to join their London-based Intellectual Property division. The primary focus of the role is business-critical patent litigation and related patent advisory work.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will:

• A bachelors degree in a technical or scientific field (such as molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering) is an advantage

• Have experience in a respected patent litigation practice, with significant experience handling patents involving complex technologies. They should also be open to working on matters across a variety of subjects. Experience with opinion and/or contentious work is necessary.
  
• Be a team player, capable of building strong working relationships with colleagues in a flexible environment.
  
• Possess strong technical skills and the ability to make sound commercial decisions.
  
• Have robust interpersonal skills, enabling the development of strong relationships with clients, market contacts, and colleagues across the firm.

• Technically proficient lawyer with a keen interest in expanding their knowledge and skills in the area of patent litigation.
  
• Experience with English High Court litigation, Unitary Patent Court (UPC) related matters, and oppositions before the European Patent Office.
