THE ROLE

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Commercial & Civil Litigation Partner with an established client following to join and expand the dispute resolution practice of this fast growing law firm. The ideal candidate will be a driven, commercially astute litigator with the ambition to grow a team and develop business in Hong Kongs competitive legal market.

WHAT

• Business Development: Leverage and grow an existing portable client base, with a focus on commercial disputes, civil litigation, and insolvency-related matters.
• Practice Leadership: Drive the strategic expansion of the litigation practice, including potential recruitment of junior lawyers.
• Case Management: Handle a broad range of disputes, including contract claims, shareholder disputes, debt recovery, and regulatory matters.
• Client Relations: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, offering pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice.
• Firm Contribution: Play an active role in the firms management and business development initiatives.

YOU

• Hong Kong qualified with 8+ years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Proven portable client following and a track record of business generation.
• Strong advocacy and drafting skills, with experience in Hong Kong courts and arbitration.
• Entrepreneurial mindset desire to build and lead a practice within a collaborative firm.
• Fluency in English is essential; Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is highly advantageous
