Associate (Debt Finance) | 3-6 PQE | Global Law Firm | Tokyo

Our client is seeking to add an associate to their busy Debt Finance team, candidates should have a background in general banking finance, including leveraged, syndicated, and bilateral financings (both secured and unsecured). The ideal candidate will engage in top-tier work across various financial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Represent leading lenders and sponsors in leveraged and intricate international finance deals.
• Oversee daily communications to ensure smooth transaction processes, including client interactions and responding to external inquiries.
• Play a key role in the growth and development of the practice.

Qualifications:

• Admission to practice law in Japan, the United States, or a Common Law jurisdiction.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English.
