Associate - Debt Finance | International Law Firm | Tokyo

Our client is looking to expand their dynamic Debt Finance team by hiring an associate to be based in Tokyo. The ideal candidate should have experience in general banking finance, including leveraged, syndicated, and bilateral financings, both secured and unsecured. This role involves engaging in high-caliber work across diverse financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent prominent lenders and sponsors in complex international finance transactions.
• Manage daily communications to ensure seamless transaction processes, including client interactions and addressing external inquiries.
• Contribute significantly to the growth and development of the practice.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Japan (Bengoshi), US, or a Common Law jurisdiction.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Fluency in Japanese and English.
