DEEP IMMERSION INTO X-BORDER COMMERCIAL LITIGATION & CONTENTIOUS REGULATORY MATTERS| Hong Kong

A leading international firm is seeking a senior disputes lawyer to join its Hong Kong practice. This is an opportunity to step into a sophisticated, partner‑led environment handling complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and regulatory matters, with a strong cross‑border dimension.

Working closely with a well‑regarded disputes partner known for advising on high‑value shareholder conflicts, family and private wealth disputes, and sensitive corporate governance issues, you will play a central role in navigating contentious situations involving corporates, founders and high‑net‑worth individuals—often spanning Hong Kong, Mainland China and offshore jurisdictions.

WHAT
You will lead on a broad mix of commercial and corporate disputes, with particular exposure to shareholder and joint‑venture conflicts, as well as contentious regulatory matters. The work is inherently cross‑border, requiring coordination across multiple jurisdictions and advisers. Responsibilities include developing litigation strategy, managing proceedings end‑to‑end, and advising senior stakeholders on risk and resolution. You will also represent clients in negotiations and ADR processes, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to client development initiatives.

YOU
You will be a Hong Kong or common law qualified lawyer with 5+ years' PQE and a strong background in commercial litigation and shareholder disputes, ideally with exposure to PRC‑related matters or offshore structures. You will bring strong drafting and advocacy skills, a confident client‑facing approach, and the ability to manage complex matters with autonomy. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
