Dispute Resolution Senior Associate | 5-7 Years PQE | HKG

A well-regarded London-headquartered international law firm in Hong Kong is looking for a commercially minded Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will manage a varied and substantive caseload spanning complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, contractual disputes, and regulatory matters, working on a mix of domestic Hong Kong proceedings and matters with cross-border elements. The role offers genuine seniority and responsibility from the outset, with direct client contact and involvement in the full lifecycle of contentious proceedings — from initial advice and strategy through to hearings and resolution.

Candidates should be qualified lawyers with five to seven years of post-qualification experience in litigation or dispute resolution, gained at a reputable international or well-regarded domestic law firm. A strong academic background, excellent drafting and advocacy skills, and the ability to take ownership of a busy caseload with appropriate partner supervision are all essential. Proficiency in Chinese, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese, is likely to be an advantage given the nature of the practice.
