A leading international commercial law firm seeks a private wealth partner to lead its non‑contentious trusts and estates offering in Hong Kong. The firm supports high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth families, trustees, private banks, and family offices across Hong Kong and Mainland China, providing advice on trust structuring, succession planning, governance, and long‑term wealth preservation.

The role sits within a collaborative cross‑border platform spanning the firm's three Greater China offices. The incoming partner will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the non‑contentious practice and work closely with related corporate, tax, and disputes teams.

A portable client following is essential, reflecting the strategic nature of the hire. This role suits a technically strong practitioner who enjoys advising on complex international private wealth matters and building close, long‑term client relationships.

Ideal profile:

• Extensive experience in non‑contentious private wealth and trusts work, ideally with cross‑border elements.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred.
• Demonstrable client following within the private wealth ecosystem.
• Strong capability in trust structuring, succession planning, and governance.
• Comfortable leading a practice and developing junior lawyers.
