Stantec is seeking a Civil/Structural QC Inspector to join our dynamic team in Rasl Al Khaimah.

The Structural QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all building construction projects meet the specified quality standards, codes, and regulations. The inspector will conduct thorough assessments, inspections, and evaluations of building materials, workmanship, and structural designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.

- Perform tests on materials (concrete, steel, etc.) to evaluate structural integrity and quality.

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.

- Interpret and enforce building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

- Participate in site meetings to discuss quality control issues and resolutions.

- Monitor workmanship and adherence to project timelines.

- Provide reports and documentation to project managers and quality assurance teams.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Certification as a Quality Control Inspector (e.g., AWS, ACI) is preferred.

- Minimum [10] years of experience in construction quality control, specifically in structural inspection.

- Experience in healthcare projects like hospital, clinic or laboratories is a plus.

- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in using inspection tools and software.
