Interior Design Intern

Position: Interior Design Intern

As an Interior Design Intern at Stantec, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the design team to develop interior design concepts and presentations

- Assist in space planning, material selection, and furniture selection

- Create 2D and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas

- Participate in client meetings and presentations

- Conduct research on materials, products, and design trends

- Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications

- Visit project sites to assist with site measurements and documentation

- Support the team in completing tasks and meeting project deadlines

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or a related field

- Strong design skills and creativity

- Basic CAD and Revit knowledge, Proactive

- Interest in Photography, Learning, Design, or similar

- Excellent communication and time management skills, good presenter, good listener

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Previous internship experience is a plus
