This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, design and development engineering and/or systems engineering in electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience with Configuration Control Management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in project management
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results according to plan
- Working knowledge of the practical application of ISO9001:2015/AS9100:2016 as it relates to requirements for contracts, program management, design development, supply chain management and production
- Working knowledge/ability to be certified in the following standards including but not limited to: IPC-A-610, IPA-A-620 or J-STD-001.
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret mechanical drawing and electrical schematics
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Product Assurance, Software Quality Assurance, and Quality Control
- Experience in leading Program Quality Engineering teams on large government defense programs projects with direct responsibilities in the following:
- Supporting proposal activities cost control account management; familiar with interpreting contractual requirements to generate functional requirements that become inputs to Basis of Estimates (BOE)
- Effectively supporting end-to-end quality program contract deliverables
- Strong communication skills reporting to senior leaders within the organization and customer.
- Knowledge and experience in key Quality functions such as; quality planning, contract review, creating quality procedures and documentation, inspection, root cause, corrective and preventive actions, MRB/non-conforming disposition, internal and external process audits and assessments, and CCB process.
- Strong data analytics experience trending quality performance history and project management skills to lead process improvement.
- AS9100:2016 certified lead auditor
- Capability Maturity Model Integration Certification (CMMI)
- Lean / Six-Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience with performing Failure Analysis (FA) and Construction Analysis (CA) utilizing the necessary electrical tests and measurements.
- Familiar with or experience with assembly of complex mechanisms and assemblies.
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) and APQP.
- Experience working with Reliability, Survivability and Components Engineering.
- Estimated travel is less than 20%.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $165,000.
