Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our organization. This role offers complete ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) and presents a unique opportunity for career growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership:

  • Assume full ownership of the organization's Profit and Loss (P&L).
  • Provide financial guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Drive financial performance improvements and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications: Must-Haves (Profile):

  • Full P&L Controller Experience - This is a complete ownership role.
  • 5 years of experience in a publicly held manufacturing environment.
  • MBA Preferred; BA in Business Accepted.
  • Note: Candidates from Thermo Fisher need not apply.
  • High-profile candidate with potential promotion to VP in 3-5 years (depending on experience).
  • Experience with ERP systems; transition to ERP: Made to Manage then to Nusion is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience with $200 Million Profit and Loss Ownership.

Desired Experience:

  • Demonstrated a history of multiple promotions within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience working in a decentralized organization.

Must-Haves (Skills):

  • Strong knowledge of SOX/Compliance.
  • Proficiency in forecasting and budgeting.
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP.
  • Experience with month and quarter-end closes.
  • Proven ability in team management.
  • Expertise in manufacturing accounting.
  • Proficiency in FP&A (forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis).
  • Ability to manage cash flow and working capital effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
