JOB TITLE: HR Admin Intern

Summary: We are seeking an organized and proactive HR Admin Intern to join our team at STAFFVIRTUAL. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR administrative tasks and employee relations. As an HR Admin Intern, you will assist with HR communications, policy implementation, performance management support, and general administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the HR department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

HR Administrative Support:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of employee records, ensuring all files are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Help in drafting and distributing HR communications, including announcements and updates.
  • Assist in managing employee inquiries and providing information on HR policies and procedures.

Employee Relations Support:

  • Assist with performance management processes, including gathering feedback and helping with documentation.
  • Provide support for employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing events and activities.
  • Help with monitoring employee attendance and handling leave-related queries.

Policy & Procedure Implementation:

  • Assist in maintaining and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
  • Participate in the review and update of HR handbooks and guidelines.


General Office & Administrative Tasks:

  • Provide general administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other HR documents.
  • Help coordinate HR-related events, such as employee onboarding and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
