Founded in 1996, one of our premium clients is one of L.A.'s most respected independent media service labs. They digital content solutions for Media and Entertainment platforms, streamers, FAST channels, and content owners. In-house services include: 4K film scanning & remastering, Blu-ray/DVD authoring, mezzanine package creation & QC for digital release, technical editing and asset conform, standards conversion, subtitling, and audio restoration/up mix.
The Jr IT Technician is responsible for helping resolve Help Desk type issues that come in from local and Remote Users. Also, helps facilitate the needs of other IT Department Members, with moving of IT Assets in and out of inventory. In addition to maintaining Asset Management Software used company wide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide help desk support for our local and remote users.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications
- Test fixes to ensure the problem adequately resolved
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
- Manage and maintain IT and Company Asset Inventory Workflow
- Networking and configuration (WAN, LAN) troubleshooting
- Able to write up detailed documentation of resolutions
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Operating system: Windows, OSX, Linux
- Some level of Help Desk experience
- Certifications are helpful but not required
