JOB TITLE: HR (Compensation & Benefits) Intern

Summary:​
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR (Compensation & Benefits) Intern to join our team at STAFFVIRTUAL. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) processes while supporting the HR team in various tasks, such as communication, research, and report preparation. You will also assist with employee benefits projects, payroll-related tasks, and social media postings, gaining exposure to important HR functions in a dynamic outsourcing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

C&B Communication:

  • Handle C&B-related inquiries via chat and email, providing timely and accurate responses.

C&B Bulletin Drafting:

  • Research topics and propose ideas for the C&B bulletin, contributing to its development and drafting.

New Hire Orientation (NHO) Support:

  • Attend and assist during NHO sessions, ensuring new hires receive all relevant C&B information.

DOLE Handbook Review:

  • Participate in sessions reviewing the DOLE handbook to ensure compliance and understanding of labor regulations.

Weekly Reports Preparation:

  • Prepare and submit weekly reports for the C&B team, summarizing key activities and updates.

C&B Webinars:

  • Attend C&B-related webinars and assist in checking for upcoming events from government agencies.

Employee Benefits Trends Research:

  • Assist with gathering data and information for the C&B Q4 project on employee benefits trends.

Timekeeping Notification:

  • Send timely email notifications regarding timekeeping for both Philippine and US payroll.


Shadow Training & Learning:

  • Shadow training sessions focused on remittance reports, timekeeping processes, and PH payroll.
  • Participate in NHO training to further understand the C&B process.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and email management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and participate in C&B-related tasks and webinars.
