General Accountant/Processor

SUMMARY: Join us as a General Accountant/Processor and work with a globally recognized leader in hospitality accountancy and consultancy. With over 30 years of industry expertise, our client supports a diverse range of hospitality businesses worldwide, from start-ups to Michelin-starred establishments. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial processes, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and client communication.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacting with customers primarily via email and occasionally through calls.
• Invoicing for new orders on a daily basis.
• Recording payments received in the bank into their backend system.
• Monitoring the client ticketing system (Zendesk) for Accounts Receivable (AR)-related queries.
• Performing basic reconciliations.
• Following up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Attending weekly meetings with the client to provide updates on the AR Aging status.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 3 years of related experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Availability to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
