Film Resto QC Technician (Php 30,000 Sign On Bonus!)

Primary Responsibilities

• Linear assessment of video and audio files, including specialized formats such as Dolby Vision HDR.
• Film restoration QC for finding restoration-introduced artifacts and evaluation of film defects
• QC of Film Conform to review proper framing of film element
• Color QC to confirm shot matching, balanced levels/scopes, and general intended looks.
• Side-by-Side comparisons between source and new master, to verify matching content, timing, framing & color
• Detailed reporting of errors and anomalies
• Communication with QC Managers and other Duplitech staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience in this type of QA work
• Familiarity with programs such as DaVinci Resolve
• Solid understanding of film based defects such as flicker, positive/negative dirt,scratches, splice lines, warps, chemical stains, and changeover cues
• Experience with master QC of HDR files is a big plus, with an emphasis on catalog titles
• Solid Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Attention to Detail
• Must be self motivated; proactively seek to improve knowledge of testing procedures
• Individuals who are available to work evenings and weekends are preferred
