Junior DevOps Engineer

Summary: The DevOps Junior Engineer plays a critical role in streamlining and automating our infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our managed systems and client environments. This position will collaborate with multiple teams, including development, operations, and support, to deliver seamless infrastructure solutions and optimize client operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in creating and managing automations in Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) systems.
• Assist in developing and managing automations in Microsoft Power Platform.
  
• Assist in developing and managing automations in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms.
  
• Assist in identifying and resolving bugs within various software deployments and provisioning tools.
  
• Assist in deploying updates and fixes for backend custom integrations across multiple systems.
  
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications across multiple environments.
  
• Work with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) to identify and improve service/endpoint management issues.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures; share knowledge and best practices with team members and clients.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on infrastructure and deployment-related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in DevOps, NOC engineering, or similar roles, preferably in a managed services or cloud environment.
  
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  

• Knowledge of databases and SQL (or Dataverse).

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with ConnectWise RMM, Automate, Halo or other RMM system.

• Knowledge of MSP operations.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of GitHub, Postman, Confluence
