JOB TITLE: Data Scientist

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-driven insights and solutions. This role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to uncover valuable business insights and support data-driven decision-making.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources
• Design and develop data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from databases and data lakes
• Leverage Azure cloud services for data storage, processing, and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
• Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization through data analysis
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, with a strong background in data analysis and visualization
• Proficient in Power BI, SQL, and Azure cloud services
• Experience working with data lakes and large-scale data processing
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse (cloud-based SQL) and Power Automate (formerly Flow)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
• Certification in data analysis, data science, or related fields
