Job Title: Meta Specialist


Overview: The Meta Specialist will serve as an essential behind-the-scenes executor within our Paid Social team. This is a tactical, detail-oriented role focused on launching, maintaining, and auditing Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns. This specialist will follow specific direction from senior team members, take notes during internal strategy meetings, ensure campaign assets are error-free, and execute critical support tasks that enable our client-facing strategists to focus on high-level thinking and performance. The role is not responsible for client communication, creative strategy, or performance analysis, but rather the accuracy and timeliness of execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Implementation: Build Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns using provided briefs, naming conventions, and audience targets. Ensure accurate budget allocation and campaign settings in Meta Ads Manager.

  • Quality Assurance & Link Testing: Double-check all ads for functionality - verifying URLs, UTMs, creative formats, and copy alignment prior to launch.

  • Meeting Documentation: Attend internal team meetings and take detailed notes. Document tasks, questions, and deadlines in the team project management system (ClickUp, or equivalent).

  • Client Question Follow-Up: Monitor project threads and Slack channels to flag unanswered client questions and ensure the right internal team members are looped in.

  • Performance Checks (Light Touch): Run daily campaign status checks for delivery issues, flag anomalies, and escalate concerns to the paid media manager.

  • Asset Coordination: Ensure correct versions of creatives are being used in live campaigns and track delivery timelines from internal creative teams.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Communicate task completion clearly and promptly to senior team members, using templates and checklists.


Qualifications:

  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience working in Meta Ads Manager in a hands-on role (campaign setup and launch).

  • Demonstrated ability to follow documented processes and execute repeatable tasks with precision.

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to follow up consistently without needing reminders.

  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Google Slides, task management tools (Asana would be best), Slack, and Google Meet.

  • Comfortable being assigned repetitive tasks and completing them on deadline without sacrificing attention to detail.

  • Not client-facing. This role requires strong internal communication, reliability, and discipline​ - not strategic thinking or presentation skills.
