Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance to lead and manage all financial activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic planning and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory and financial reporting to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures related to accounting and internal controls.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and accounting activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Direct staff operations, business planning, and budget compliance within the department.
  • Coordinate the operating budget, capital budget, and strategic financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial support and analysis to senior-level executive management.
  • Oversee audit processes and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Conduct financial analysis to forecast trends and report findings to executive leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the financial health and goals of the organization.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient knowledge of Health Information Systems and General Ledger Accounting.
  • Expertise in accounting software, finance principles, procedures, and practices in both non-profit and for-profit settings.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local grant regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health center revenue cycle management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Location: Miami, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday full time - hybrid potential

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000
