We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to oversee and lead the clinical operations of our facilities. This leadership role is ideal for licensed clinicians with extensive supervisory experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a culture of clinical excellence.

Position Overview:


As the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of multiple behavioral health facilities across the state of Florida. This includes the leadership and supervision of clinical staff, development and implementation of clinical policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and promoting best practices in patient care. The CCO will report directly to the Executive Team and work collaboratively with medical, administrative, and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage clinical operations across multiple behavioral health facilities in Florida.
  • Oversee and supervise the clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support teams, ensuring that they are providing the highest standard of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and clinical best practices, including state licensing requirements, CARF, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to senior clinicians and department heads, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, conducting regular reviews and assessments of treatment programs to ensure effectiveness and quality.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for clinical growth, innovation, and service expansion.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of clinical staff, ensuring high retention rates and a positive work culture.
  • Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between departments.
  • Maintain and promote a culture of clinical excellence, ethical standards, and patient advocacy.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, research, and regulatory changes to ensure the facilities remain at the forefront of treatment advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Active and current clinical license in the state of Florida (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or similar).
  • Supervisory Certification or equivalent credentials required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the behavioral health field with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Extensive experience managing clinical operations in a behavioral health setting, with a focus on treatment excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and facilities while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay- $185,000.00- $230,000.00
