We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager to ensure our facility adheres to all regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards.
Job Summary:
As the Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our mental health and addiction treatment services by overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements. This includes developing and enforcing policies, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with staff to ensure that our services are safe, effective, and in full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing mental health and addiction treatment services.
- Oversee compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, JCAHO) and assist in the preparation for accreditation and certification inspections.
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to align with evolving legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure best practices and regulatory adherence across all services.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution to address compliance-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide training to staff on regulatory requirements, compliance protocols, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and accreditation standards affecting mental health and substance use treatment.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, managing inspections, audits, and other external reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, public health, law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance management within a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to behavioral health and substance use treatment (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, etc.).
- Experience with accreditation processes such as CARF or JCAHO is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time w/ Hybrid Functionality
Pay: $70,000 - $80,000
