Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to oversee the clinical operations of our drug, alcohol, and dual diagnosis treatment facility. The Clinical Director will be responsible for program development, staff supervision, compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring clinical excellence in our treatment programs. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about behavioral health and committed to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all clinical services, ensuring alignment with best practices in substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment.
  • Lead, train, and support a team of therapists, case managers, and support staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and programming that align with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF).
  • Ensure all documentation, treatment plans, and patient records comply with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians, supporting professional growth and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making data-driven improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, addressing clinical concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Support crisis management and interventions as needed.
  • Stay current with advancements in addiction and behavioral health treatment to integrate innovative approaches into programming.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed Clinician (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCPC, LCMHC) in Indiana required.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment settings.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of leadership/management experience in a treatment facility or behavioral health setting.
  • Strong understanding of ASAM criteria, DSM-5, evidence-based treatment modalities, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Familiarity with state licensing requirements, Joint Commission, and CARF accreditation standards.
  • Proven ability to manage clinical operations, supervise staff, and drive program outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation compliance.
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) programs.
  • Certification in Addiction Counseling (e.g., CADC, MAC, ICADC).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
