Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover and improve their physical mobility, strength, and overall function. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, massage, and other interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including treatment sessions and progress notes.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing patient appointments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide holistic and patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is a plus.

Pay: $37-$40/hr
