Princeton Detox & Recovery Center is a part of Guardian Recovery Network, a nationally accredited leader in substance use disorder treatment with two decades of experience providing a full continuum of care for clients and their families throughout the recovery process. We are one of the tri-state areas premier medical detox facilities. We offer clients a relaxed, homestyle retreat with round-the-clock medical supervision and a range of therapeutic services. We provide medication to help ease the pain of withdrawal, making the detox experience as safe and comfortable as possible. Our medical team is composed of licensed doctors and nursing staff with years of experience in drug & alcohol detoxification.

Requirements

To be considered for the RN position, you will need:

  • RN - Bachelors degree or higher
  • Proven nursing experience in behavioral health preferred
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Compassionate with good communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify patients care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
  • Resolve or report on patients needs or problems
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
  • Monitor and record patients condition and document provided care services
  • Treat medical emergencies
  • Administer workloads
  • Follow care regulations and standards
  • Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $40-45/hour

Schedule: Full time Nights

Location: Monmouth Junction, NJ
