Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Therapist to provide therapeutic services to adolescents in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth facing mental health challenges and possess a deep understanding of adolescent development and trauma-informed care. This position involves conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and creating treatment plans to support each adolescents unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, counselors, case managers, and support staff
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care in treatment approaches
  • Document all therapeutic sessions and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training for professional development
  • Support adolescents in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships
  • Communicate effectively with family members and provide family counseling when needed
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, following facility protocols

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required)
  • Current licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent (required)
  • Experience in adolescent or residential mental health settings preferred
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, or other therapeutic modalities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient approach to supporting adolescents with mental health challenges

Schedule: FT ON SITE

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
