Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Therapist to provide therapeutic services to adolescents in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth facing mental health challenges and possess a deep understanding of adolescent development and trauma-informed care. This position involves conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and creating treatment plans to support each adolescents unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for adolescents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, counselors, case managers, and support staff
- Utilize evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care in treatment approaches
- Document all therapeutic sessions and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training for professional development
- Support adolescents in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships
- Communicate effectively with family members and provide family counseling when needed
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, following facility protocols
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required)
- Current licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent (required)
- Experience in adolescent or residential mental health settings preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, or other therapeutic modalities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient approach to supporting adolescents with mental health challenges

Schedule: FT ON SITE
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
