Position Overview

We are seeking a PRN Neurologist to support our clinical team in evaluating and managing neurological concerns in patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role is ideal for a physician who values flexibility and wants to make a meaningful impact on a part-time or as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide neurological consultations for patients with suspected or known neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine providers, and therapists to support integrated care.
  • Review patient histories, conduct neurological exams, and order/interpret diagnostic studies as needed.
  • Offer recommendations for ongoing neurological care and communicate clearly with the treatment team.
  • Support differential diagnosis of complex cases involving psychiatric and neurological symptoms.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings when appropriate and available.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with active Georgia medical license.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
  • Prior experience working with patients with mental health, addiction, or dual-diagnosis preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
