Position Overview
We are seeking a PRN Neurologist to support our clinical team in evaluating and managing neurological concerns in patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role is ideal for a physician who values flexibility and wants to make a meaningful impact on a part-time or as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide neurological consultations for patients with suspected or known neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine providers, and therapists to support integrated care.
- Review patient histories, conduct neurological exams, and order/interpret diagnostic studies as needed.
- Offer recommendations for ongoing neurological care and communicate clearly with the treatment team.
- Support differential diagnosis of complex cases involving psychiatric and neurological symptoms.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings when appropriate and available.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with active Georgia medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Prior experience working with patients with mental health, addiction, or dual-diagnosis preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
Schedule & Compensation
- PRN/Per Diem (flexible hours)
