Clinical Director - Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic
Location: Cleveland, OH

We are a Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, welcoming children aged 3 to 12 experiencing behavioral challenges, learning delays, motor skill difficulties, and communication issues. Our state-of-the-art facility offers Day Treatment and After School IOP programs, providing a nurturing environment where children can grow, develop, and thrive.
About the Role:
The Clinical Director role is key to ensuring high-quality care within our PHP/Day Treatment clinic. You will lead a team of clinical and administrative staff, overseeing the development and implementation of effective treatment programs tailored to support children's behavioral health needs. This position is crucial in fostering resilience and self-confidence in children, helping them succeed both in school and in life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a mission-driven team focused on empowering young minds.
- Ensure program services meet high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff.
- Provide clinical consultations with families, assess patients needs, and refer clients to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Offer education and resources to families to support their children's behavioral health.
- Manage crisis situations, including assessments for self-harm and other urgent clinical issues.
- Review and approve clinical staff documentation.
- Participate in staff reviews, intake sessions, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff and ensure ongoing professional development.
- Build relationships with community partners, schools, and other healthcare providers.
- Assist in budget management and resource allocation.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of clinic policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field (specialized training in trauma, CBT, or autism preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience, including quality improvement and accreditation standards.
- Licensure: LICDC-S, LISW, or similar certification/licensure required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with children, youth, and families.
- Proficient in EHR, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
