Requirements

  • Masters degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Licensed in Texas as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent
  • Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, Somatic Experiencing)
  • Experience working with IOP or similar outpatient programs preferred
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and therapeutic skills

Note: This position is onsite and requires physical presence at our treatment facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients in the Trauma IOP program
  • Develop and oversee trauma-focused treatment plans tailored to client needs
  • Conduct intake assessments and periodic evaluations to monitor progress
  • Provide psychoeducation on trauma, emotional regulation, and coping mechanisms
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings
  • Stay updated on current trauma treatment approaches and evidence-based practices

Location: Buda, TX

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: 9:00-5:00pm (Monday through Friday)

Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 annually
