We are looking for an experienced Clinical Director to lead and enhance our clinical programs.
Position Overview: The Clinical Director will oversee the clinical operations of our outpatient facility, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and effective service delivery. This leadership role requires a strong background in outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment, a passion for patient-focused care, and the ability to inspire and develop a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day clinical operations to ensure quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and protocols specific to outpatient services.
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to manage budgets, resources, and strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment planning.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
- Maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources.
- Address any patient or family concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- State licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience working in an outpatient mental health and/or substance use disorder setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in program development and implementation.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes (e.g., The Joint Commission, CARF).
- Strong crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
