Counselor Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience in individual and group counseling, preferably in a mental health or substance abuse setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment
- Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Counselor Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling services to clients, addressing their mental health and substance abuse concerns.
- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, promoting a sense of community and shared support.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to integrate counseling services into clients' overall care plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions to support clients' recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.
Pay: $45,000- $60,000
