We are looking for a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our healthcare team. Requirements
- Active LNA or MNA certification/license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a substance use treatment or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with attention to safety and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and documenting patient progress.
- Administer prescribed medications and support medication management under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Monitor and document patient behaviors, reporting any significant changes or concerns to the nursing and clinical team.
- Support clients in maintaining a structured daily routine and participate in group activities and therapeutic programming as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients by following infection control and safety procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, families, and the treatment team to support the recovery process.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices and facility policies.
Job Type: Part Time & Full Time
Schedule: Days and Overnights
Pay: $17 - $21 per hour
