Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Intern Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young adults, contributing to their mental health and recovery journey. This is an excellent opportunity for an intern looking to gain hands-on experience in addiction and mental health treatment under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients under supervision
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on clients' needs
• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of all client interactions
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions
• Engage with clients in a compassionate, empathetic manner, promoting a safe and supportive environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients' progress and recovery

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Strong interest in working with young adults facing addiction and mental health challenges
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals
