As a nurse at our detox facility, you will provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing detoxification from drugs and alcohol. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, supporting individuals in the early stages of their recovery journey.

Nurse Requirements

• Valid Nursing license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting preferred
• Knowledge of detox protocols, withdrawal symptoms, and medication management
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a detox setting, monitoring vital signs and symptoms of withdrawal
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring adherence to detox protocols
• Collaborate with the medical and clinical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient progress, medical records, and any changes in condition accurately and timely
• Educate patients on the detox process and recovery options
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Participate in daily team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment progress
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the treatment team
• Assist with crisis management and provide emotional support to patients during the detox process
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $27-40/hour
Schedule: Weekend Nights, Fri, Sat & Sun
