Qualifications:
- CAC-AD or ADT.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in substance use disorder and addictions counseling.
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to client care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a SUD facility.
- Previous experience with our organization or similar settings.
- Ability to commit to a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals seeking substance abuse treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide counseling services to individuals and facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Address the unique needs and challenges associated with substance abuse recovery.
- Offer education and preventive services to individuals and groups to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards.
- Work collaboratively with other counselors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 annually
