Admissions Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in admissions management within a healthcare or mental health setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Admissions Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the admissions process for individuals seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline admissions procedures and improve efficiency.
- Supervise admissions staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to assess patient needs and determine appropriate levels of care.
- Oversee insurance verification and authorization processes to ensure timely reimbursement for services.
- Maintain accurate records of admissions activity and outcomes.
- Monitor bed availability and coordinate admissions to optimize facility occupancy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the admissions process and patient experience.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to promote admissions services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000
Schedule: Tues - Fri, 4-10 and Saturday, 11-7
