Admissions Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in admissions management within a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Admissions Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions process for individuals seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline admissions procedures and improve efficiency.
  • Supervise admissions staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to assess patient needs and determine appropriate levels of care.
  • Oversee insurance verification and authorization processes to ensure timely reimbursement for services.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions activity and outcomes.
  • Monitor bed availability and coordinate admissions to optimize facility occupancy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the admissions process and patient experience.
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to promote admissions services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 

Schedule: Tues - Fri, 4-10 and Saturday, 11-7
