Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Primary Therapist to join our clinical team. This role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy for adult and geriatric patients in accordance with licensure requirements, professional standards, and organizational policies. The therapist will build strong therapeutic relationships, coordinate care among the multidisciplinary team, and guide treatment through comprehensive planning tailored to each patients assessed needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for adult and geriatric patients.

  • Evaluate signs and symptoms of substance use and co-occurring conditions.

  • Identify patient strengths, weaknesses, and problem areas to develop treatment plans with patient involvement.

  • Apply appropriate counseling theories and techniques with sensitivity to cultural, gender, lifestyle, and age differences.

  • Coordinate all services related to client care, including crisis intervention and resource utilization.

  • Communicate relevant clinical information effectively with patients, families, groups, and staff.

  • Respond to off-hour concerns in a timely and effective manner.

  • Recognize patient needs beyond the scope of services offered and provide appropriate referrals.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Strong understanding of the emotional and behavioral effects of addiction.

  • Strong understanding of family systems.

  • Ability to use clinical software and other software programs.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to serve in an on-call capacity for emergencies.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Ability to travel by plane and other transportation methods as needed.

  • Ability to work extended hours when required.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a related field required.

  • License preferred with at least 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant field (licensure required for certain programs).

  • Experience with in-network insurance programs preferred.

  • If in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety preferred.

Pay- $85k-$110k

Schedule- Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am-5:00pm
