Role Summary

As Clinical Director, you will oversee all clinical operations within our Ancillary withdrawal services, Outpatient rehabilitation (php equivalent), Intensive outpatient, Outpatient Telehealth levels of care. Youll ensure regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and staff supervision across programs. This leadership role is central to maintaining quality standards and advancing our mission of integrated behavioral healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and update clinical protocols, treatment plans, and QA systems in accordance with NY regulatory standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision
  • Coordinate integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Oversee clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning aligned with DSM-5 and ASAM criteria.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate clinical staff while ensuring all team members meet credentialing and supervision standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ethics, and client-centered care.
  • Assist with state inspections, audits, and accreditation (CARF, JCAHO).
  • Analyze clinical outcomes and make data-informed improvements to care delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold one of the following active New York licenses: CASAC, CASAC-G, or Advanced CASAC who holds LMHC or LCSW as well.
  • Minimum 5 years of behavioral health or SUD clinical experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of NY licensure standards, ASAM criteria, DSM-5, and evidence-based practices
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in PHP/IOP level of care and outpatient treatment settings
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, and utilization review
  • CARF or Joint Commission accreditation experience
