Job Position: ASSISTANT EXPORT SALES MANAGER
Salary Up To RM8000
Location: Shah Alam
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible on sales activities for all export products and ensure achievement of export sales target and analyse company objectives and negotiate on prices to achieve same and maintain knowledge on competitor activities.
- Maintain company distributors for all assign territories and perform regular visits to sites, forecast sales volume for various projects and maintain knowledge on all product range.
- Assist to prepare territory budgets, recommend appropriate distributors for assign region, design organization projects and facilitate in sales for same.
- Develop objectives and goals for market sales and net revenue for all export activities, implement new product launches to achieve sales objectives and administer merchandise for group brands.
- Design required marketing and sales program for assign territory, maintain knowledge on all competitor products and participate in various exhibitions and seminars, and perform tests on all new products.
- Analyze market intelligence reports, identify new business opportunities to expand business and maintain an efficient portfolio for same.
- Collaborate with marketing departments to analyze all market activities, manage communication with technical departments and perform various tests in products and ensure optimal quality of all products and design export market rules and regulations to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all clients, supervise achievement of all sales targets for all assign areas and analyze all customer requirements to prepare appropriate sales strategies for same.
- Assist HOD to design budget for all expenditures, plan all trade shows as per customer specifications and prepare strategies for all customers to facilitate distribution for same.
- Prepare all contracts with suppliers and distributors in accordance with respective countries.
- Provide training to team members and evaluate all sales and service programs.
- Troubleshooting to sort out any problems with the exports.
Job Requirements:
- At least Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Sales & Marketing / Business Administration / Management / Mass Communication or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar industry, especially in export sales, marketing, business development related work in food industry.
- Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries.
- Demonstrate application of market research and audit conclusions to decision-making.
- Proven client and customer account management skills.
- Ability to manage global/regional/country level assignments and projects
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/- cultural interactions.
