SUMMARY:
The Receiver position is responsible for receiving all inbound product from the main plant and any other outside receipts in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy and productivity. In addition, the Receiver will cross train in areas such as Pick/Pack, Cycle Counting and/or the Shipping Department, to assist as the need arises.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
· Uses forklift and/or other material handling equipment (such as pallet rider, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit-down Forklift, etc.) to transport received products through the process.
· Ensure all Shipments are received in an accurate manner.
· Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
· Manually stack / re-stack parts as needed.
· Deliver completed received products to the correct department.
· Participates in physical inventories.
· Actively participates in housekeeping to keep the work area clean and orderly.
· Picks order by using an RF Handheld scanner or paper order. (Part number, location, quantity, special instructions, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
· Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
· Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
· Maintain the production pace of other team members.
· Basic computer skills.
· RF Scanner experience required.
· Sit-down Forklift experience required.
· Stand-Up Reach Truck experience required.
· Order Picker / Cherry Picker experience required.
· Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
· High school diploma or equivalent. No extensive experience required.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Must be able to read and write English.
· Ability to work and communicate well with others.
· Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
· Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels of management throughout the company.
· Must be able to differentiate between part numbers during shipping/receiving activities.
· Must have basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
· Must be able to recognize problems due to mixed pallets and material that is in the
wrong location to avoid shipping errors.
· Must be able to spend a major part of the work day on your feet and walking, standing, climbing, and/or continuous lifting of cartons.
· Must be able to work irregular and/or extended hours on short notice.
· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and push or pull a pallet jack or platform cart and bend and stoop as needed to retrieve orders.
· This is a warehouse position, and the job will be in a warehouse environment. The Warehouse Order Picker must be willing to work in the heat and cold and also be able to tolerate noise and dust.
