Job Title: Financial Data Analyst-Procurement Center of Excellence
Job Location: Onsite in Irving, TX
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director, the Data Analyst will be responsible for presenting, maintaining, and creating procurement reports for the Procurement Department and CLIENTS Leadership Team. They will support the Commodity Managers by tracking spend data, providing analytics in-depth analytics, and by tracking commodity/market trends, spend data, material price tracking and savings reports. The Data Analyst will need to be able to work in a fast past environment with an evolving role to support cross-functional teams in making strategic decisions based off the data and reports created.
Primary responsibilities
1. In depth analysis of spend data, including presenting and explaining data to business partners and contribute relevant insights to drive discussion
2. Compile monthly purchase reports that provides Cost variance information, trending, cost savings, and various other insights from various ERP systems for multiple Business Units
3. Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to reporting processes through automation and/or the development of dashboards
4. Continually enhance the accuracy and availability of data and metrics through focused projects
5. Build relationships across the business serving as a resource for cross-functional teams
6. Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by leadership
7. Support Commodity Managers by tracking commodity/market trends from outside reports 8. Prepare cost models on finished goods & raw material
9. Maintain rebate tracking from supplier contracts
10. Maintain Payment Terms tracking, cost savings projects, and supplier price increases
Professional Skills/Qualifications
Minimum level of education and/or specialization:
Bachelors degree in business, finance, engineering, supply Chain, or commodity management experience with an understanding of financial data analysis.
Preferred: 3+ years experience in Financial Data Analytics with a focus in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Data Analysis, supply chain, or Finance
Experience with Multiple ERP Systems, Data Mining, Validation, Data Manipulation, Interpretation & Visualization of Data
Proficient in Power BI Dax language, Excel Power tools and VBA, PivotTable, and other complex excel functions

Must be proficient in English (written and spoken)
