Responsibilities:Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
Prepare project budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in equipment/manpower/systems or other assets/resources.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Develop, compile and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Identify training needs/requirements.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with customers vital to the success of the project.
Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with. Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
To ensure projects meet customer's quality standards.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of Department
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board or BOA
Minimum 5 years of experience in constructions or civil engineering. those with experience in underground utilities especially water pipes will be advantageous
Team management experience
Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Candidates must have Singapore Class 3 driving licence
