1. Policy and Risk Management
- Administer HSE Policy
- Identify HSE hazards through risk assessment and site inspections
- Implement Control Measures
- Support HSE Legal Compliance and Incident Reporting
- Coordinate HSE aspects of Integrated Management System (IMS) and the Project Health and Safety Plan
- Coordinate Implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans
- Promote HSE Culture Development
- Participate in Implementing HSE Management Process
- Conduct inspections as per Project HSSE Monitoring Programme and Inspection Schedule to identify hazards and non-conformances to IMS Procedures and Project Risk Assessments
- Maintain and monitor project HSSE trackers including Document Register, Risk Register, SDS Registers, Plant Machinery Equipment Tools (PET) Registers, Training Registers, Site Entry Tracker and Site Pass Register, etc.
- Investigate and Report HSE Incidents
- Measure, Monitor and Report HSE Performance
- Check and report outcome of HSE inspection
- Develop and distribute weekly HSE reports, presentations and HSE topics that provide employees with workplace injury statistics, new initiatives and system changes
- Advise on implementation of safe work practices according to established risk assessments
- Direct communications between injured employees, their management and medical providers to ensure that all parties are aware of rights, responsibilities and recovery plans
- Ensure adherence and compliance to Company Code of Conduct
- Ensure safe and respectful workplace with a focus on health and safety in the workplace; and treating all colleagues with mutual respect, fairness and integrity

- Engineering Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent disciplines
- 4 years of cumulative HSE work experience (including 2 years of HSE work experience with a BCA grade A1 contractor as WSH Officer and1 year of HSE work experience in a construction project of contract sum >$30 mil)
- Auditee in MOM ConSASS audit
- Implemented BCA Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) on-site
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH or equivalent
- WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations or equivalent
- WSQ Assess Confined Space for Safe Entry and Work or equivalent
- NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) / IES registered Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)
- Internal Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems / Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems
- Good analytical, communication, ICT and problem solving skills.
