About the job Site Manager (Construction)
Responsibilities
Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations projects and construction site operation, including planning and cost control
Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors on the project matters
Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related matters
Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those risen during the project execution
Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
Ensure safety & compliance of work on site
Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
At least 2 years (Degree holders) / 4 years (Diploma holders) of experience in managing Construction teams for projects of similar scale and complexity
Skilful in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD
Meticulous and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to start work immediately or within short notice
Relevant safety certificates and qualifications, such as Safety Coordinator Certificate, will be an added advantage
