Job Responsibilities

• To monitor and report on contractor’s progress against planned schedule and performance. Maintain site records of the works which should include all circumstances and events occurring during the construction stage. Must ensure that contractor follows strictly to the work program submitted so as to ensure no unnecessary delay in the project.
• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, and all other contract documents and site inspection
• To supervise works to comply with statutory requirements through:Maintain all required records of tests to be carried out On-Site or Off-site. Write daily reports of works done by contractor and, manpower deployment. Provide standing supervision for Excavation, Concreting, and all other critical works; Inspect and maintain records of works checked;
• To check and ensure that the Contractor and the Contractor’s Safety team adhere to all the necessary safety requirements and procedures.
• To submit and maintain daily site records reporting on the daily activities and the site/safety inspections carried out on the Contractor.
• To complete other ad-hoc task appointed by management.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with RTO Certificate accredited by IES.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Spore as an RTO, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of site works in a mid-size industrial project
• Registered with the approved body in Singapore, and recognized by the Building Control Authority (BCA)
• Possess the Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSSC) certificate
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report
• Preferably with PUB Watermains experience
